Star Jones just announced she's leaving The View. Hooray!!!! I'm not surprised--when it was announced that Rosie O'Donnell would be joining the group in September, I figured Star would leave. She and RO are like oil and vinegar with fireworks and I guess Star didn't expect that she'd be able to take the high road and be a grownup. Personally, I'm glad she's on her way out.

Today I learned that one of the blog community has died unexpectedly. I've read Gut Rumbles for a couple of years now-- his writing has always been honest, up front and no holds barred. many people would've either been offended or disgusted, but I liked his blog.
