I know the time stamp says it's Sunday morning, but to me it's still Sat night. At least until I go to bed and get up--then it will be Sunday morning.

Tonight we went to the real movie theater and watched real movies on a real screen. We paid for and saw Prairie Home Companion. This movie was so disappointing. The story seemed disjointed and the ending was just stupid. And no "News From Lake Wobegon"--I was so waiting to hear the news! After that we saw DV Code. I liked it, bfg thought it was a dud (he wanted it to be just.like.the.book (Hello---have you SEEN many movies made from books? They don't usually copy them exactly). Me, I liked it okay. I was very disappointed in what was done to Sophie's character. I feel like she was really dumbed down in the movie, so T-Hanks could be the big hero and puzzle solver. He is T-Hanks, you know.

I know it's been a little while since I've seen a movie at the theater, but what is with the 20 minutes of commercials now? Everything I see on TV advertising new shows is now shown at the movies. What happened to the movie trivia questions?
