Cake #1--finished. We didn't even work on it in class today-- after all that time we put into making and coloring the icing last night. We ran out of time, so B and I decided to go ahead and finish tonight. More details tomorrow, and more pictures, but here's the finished product. I told B we could make and sell these cakes for Gay Pride Week next year.

p.s And after all the frustration of frosting the cake with the wrong consistency of frosting last night, the instructor said she thought my cake looked great, especially when she found out the mistake. Go me.
