Here's the final cake of Course 1. The shells around the top are a little darker than the shells around the bottom. I did the bottom last night, and then the top today. When the icing sits overnight it darkens-- a good lesson to learn! We signed up for Course 2, but I'm somewhat stressed about it. It meets on Mondays from 5-7. At that time of day it will take me at least an hour to get down there. But I said I'd give it a shot--it's only four weeks. It's been fun and very useful, but I'm looking forward to a weekend off over Labor Day!
