Blah, blah, blah, blah, bleh.

I'm glad tomorrow is Friday--it's been busy at school and people have been kind of on edge for several reasons. For one, tonight was a big family math night at our school. We have a new math curriculum and it was a night for parents to come and ask questions, see some activities, etc. Lots of stress, but in reality it seemed that very few parents would be making the effort to attend. It's annoying when the parents have complaints and questions, but won't come to a night designed especially for them to learn more.

And second, today we were planning on having an emergency drill, which always brings some anxiety. Lots to remember to do, so many details. The drills are required twice a year by the district, and today's was supposed to be an intruder in the building so it would be a lockdown. Well what d'ya know-- look at the news from yesterday. An armed intruder in a high school an hour or so away kills a student then himself. Our drill was cancelled, thankfully.

Other niggly issues going on and they're alternately annoying and saddening. I hate when that happens.
