Not really looking forward to the weekend much--some annoying things here and there (mostly there). I have a couple of commitments on Sat and Sun, but I'd be content to stay home in front of the fan and watch old science fiction movies.

I went to the doctor about my knee today--had a couple of x-rays done and the verdict is "severely bruised". Good--my knee cap isn't fractured. Bad-- Might take a few weeks to start feeling better. Even badder: "You have quite a bit of arthritis in that knee, especially behind the kneecap-- more than you see in people your age usually". Um... thanks. Hey, at least I didn't break my leg playing volleyball. So it really could be worse.
