I doubt I'd ever really do it because I'm a big chicken (and have you seen my spare bedroom?), but lately I'm thinking I need a change of scenery and have started to think about moving to another state.If you were able to move someplace else, where would you move? And RR--you can't say Michigan because that's so obvious even a caveman could figure it out.

I would LOVE to move to another state too. I have so little exposure and I might say NCarolina, but no because of the humidity. Wherever it is, the weather would have to be stellar.
I would move to New Mexico.
However, YOU are not allowed to. Why don't you just make standing reservations at some nice hotel? For, like every three months or so? Or better yet, make reservations for a bed and breakfast.
I agree with New Mexico. I love the landscape, and the FOOD!
I HAVE seen the spare bedroom, you gots lots to do to even move across the city. Look for a house here and make those reservations that Laurie suggested to satisfy the need.
Since I can't pick MI, I would move to TN. It is SO beautiful and just a nice leisurely drive to MI to see my family. =)

Okay (grumbles), how about the islands off Seattle, Washington. Yeah I know I live six hours from there and haven't actually been to any of them yet but I really wished we had plunk down roots there instead of here!
