It's 2 a.m.-- what am I doing up? it still feels like Fri night, so we'll just go with that.

You know how you really think you know someone, and every once in awhile, they completely take you surprise? Sometimes it's not in such a good way, but sometimes it's in an amazing way?

Tonight, B gave me a retirement gift. It was wrapped, there was ribbon and a bow, and there was a card. All of those themselves were out of character.

I opened it, and because of the way the outside wrapper was on the item, it took me a bit to figure out what it was.

This is what it was.

I was speechless. And thrilled.

I'm still speechless.
