I haven't really read anything since school got out in June. Even my favorite magazines--they are just waiting for me in a towering pile near the coffee table.

Last night I started this book, and I am about three-fourths done. I am dreading finishing it, because the last JP book I read I almost threw into the Caribbean Sea when I read the ending. As I read, I am getting little clues that I am going to hate the ending, like I did with the last one. I am trying so so so hard not to look up the book on wikipedia, because it will tell me everything, including the ending.

Grrrr.

Finished the book last night and it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The last fourth of the book was a little long and convoluted, and I had figured out "who done it" long before the end, but at least I didn't want to tear the book into little pieces when I was done.

The only JP book I've read was Plain Truth, and I didn't mind the ending because it actually explained everything. I really thought, until basically the last paragraph, that the book would end and I'd never know what really happened.

You are more courageous than I; there is NO WAY I would have picked up another JP book after My Sister's Keeper. However, now that you've reviewed it, I'll CONSIDER another.
