Today I gave my first all-by-myself sub q to the kitty--and it went...okay. I had to do it three times because she moves around and the needle kept coming out. That means saline solution is all over the place. At the vet she's very still, very calm, kind of mellow. Here she wants to walk around, get her chin scratched, all the normal stuff. I tried giving her food first to distract her (mostly to keep her in one place) but I think I need to try getting the needle in first, then feeding her so she's focused longer. It wasn't terrible, but I definitely need more practice.

This morning I made a digital scrapbook page of my photos from last weekend's retreat--it turned out so cute! I don't really see myself going completely over to digital scrapbooking, but I'm near the end of my 2008 album, and the book is getting a little bigger than I'd normally like, so making one digital page versus three regular pages--worked this time!
