There should be a law against three straight days of standardized testing--for both kids and the adults who have to administer them. I could really use that hour we lost last weekend.

I have just extricated myself from the big black hole that is "rate a zillion movies on nettie flickers so they know what I like". Holy cow it's never-ending. I finally stopped after I rated 200 movies I had seen (yes, folks TWO HUNDRED). I probably could've gone on all night. But there's this thing called sleep--and it's something I kind of like.

Looks to be a very nice, uneventful weekend coming up. I've got a few movies, a big bottle of light cranberry juice and some vanilla vodka, and nothing I really have to do. Yessiree, a nice weekend.

Happy moment of the day.... I've been gathering paperwork and getting everything organized to send in my application for relicensure. I got fingerprinted yesterday and am waiting on a few people to email me back saying they will verify my clock hours attending workshops. I'm on kind of a tight deadline-- since it takes about 6 weeks to process, and if I don't get my new license to my district by the expiration date, I don't get paid that month. Kind of a biggie. I discovered tonight my license expires June 30, not May 30. Doin' the little happy dance--oh yeah.

And now I'm going to dance myself right upstairs and go to sleep.
