Normally on a Saturday I get up between 8 and 9 then hang out in my jammies til around 11. Today I was up, dressed, and on the road by 8:20. I went to a meeting at our district board room about the changes in our medical insurance. The room was packed, and kind of fun to see some people I hadn't seen in years, but it wasn't really a great reason to be up and about.

On Thursday a second grade class came into the library with their teacher, went quietly to the tables and sat down. Nobody said anything, I asked their teacher if I should be doing something with them, she said "Isn't it a library day?" No, it wasn't, but I had them check out books then we broke out the new Scrabble game boards. They did pretty well, actually--- and I earned some points for not kicking them out. I can already tell we are going to get tiles mixed up between bags-- I'm kind of compulsive about that kind of thing so it will be something to either pay attention to or let go. I'm guessing I'll have to let it go.

Today we ran some errands, ate at Chili's, took naps, I made mac and cheese to take for dinner tomorrow and bfg made chocolate martinis to drink tonight. Both were excellent.
