Good grief, I think I've been caught in the time warp continuum for the past five days. I looked at my blog and it said "Monday" on the last post. And the contents of that post felt like it had happened weeks ago.

Today was Field Day at school (as in Track and Field). For me, just a regular day-- I had all my same classes so it didn't feel much different. I desperately wanted to go to SB about 10:00 for a venti cold one, but I knew if I left, I'd never find a parking place again because of the all the parents who come to watch their kids run and run and then complain about how hot it is and how tired they are. So I went to the office and said that if anyone was going to SB later to let me know. The secretary said she was going, so I was in luck, did I tell her about the not finding a parking place again thought I had? Of course not. That was the whole point. Find someone who doesn't think that way. :-)

Tonight I'm watching another set of Alfred Hitchcock episodes and trying to not go to bed at 9:00. On Wed we watched the second Zorro movie-- very good. This weekend I have Wedding Date and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Not that I will have any time to watch anything-- going to rehearsal tomorrow and then going to see a community singing group in Saudi Aurora, and Sunday a cookout at Martha Stewart's Amanda's house. I'm supposed to bring cut up watermelon. Not "a" watermelon. It has to be cut up before I get there. I need a machete. I'm sure she has one someplace. Probably in the garage.

13 days of school left.
