The kitty is fine-- in fact she seems to be doing really well. It was a little worrisome there for awhile--she spent 5 days in the hospital, had 4 teeth extracted, and a few other unpleasant kitty things. She was really weird this past weekend--I actually wondered for a couple of days if she had some kind of stroke. I think it was just some residual anesthesia and pain medication that was causing the weirdness.
Schools bites the big one right now. I don't like being there, I don't want to be there, I want to close the doors to the library and say "stay away!". But that's really hard to do--they come in anyway. There's too much to do, and no time to do it, and almost everyone feels the same pressure. I have piles everywhere and it makes me feel penned in. In a couple of weeks we move all the set pieces into the theater and the week of May 22 is hell week--meaning I am at the theater doing tech rehearsals from 6-11 every night Mon-Wed, then we open on the 25th. Could this come at a worse time?
