This is a photo I took last weekend of a bee on a flowering bush near my place. I love the detail (click to embiggen).

I seriously need a nap. Or maybe I just need a serious nap.

I was up til nearly three a.m. uploading photos for printing at the CM website. I am seriously behind in printing them-- some are from the kindergarten luau the last week of school, some are from the retirement bash at school, and some are from the G&S show we did in May/June. I want to get those scrapbook pages done and need the pics! I uploaded 121 pics-- ten at a time, and it took forever. I love, love love the CM Photo Center. Their photofinishing is really the best I've ever seen, but uploading photos (no matter what company you use online) takes freaking forever. I'd load the ten pics, click "upload" then go wash my face, put stuff away, watch TV, blah blah blah. I kept thinking "why am I doing this tonight? I can do this in the morning....." but I stayed up and did it anyway. Dumb.

It's not like I don't have any scrapbook projects... Yesterday while working in my mom's basement (yuck, yuck, yuck) sorting and throwing, I found a bazillion photos (seriously, it was that many) that I'd thought I'd lost or misplaced or something. Friend's weddings, church youth trips (I wasn't the youth--I was the junior high Sunday School teacher), family photos, soooo many. So now I have a huuuuuuge box full of photos I need to sort and label.

This afternoon I went to another WallyMart to try to find an elusive article of clothing I found there once before and haven't been able to find at any other WM. I did NOT find this article of clothing (which made me mad), but there WAS a new Very Expensive Coffee Place close by with a drive through, so that's where I headed. I placed my order, drove forward, kept driving, never saw the pick up window, and ended up driving all the way around the building again to find the pick up window. It's actually very well blended into the brick--it doesn't even look like a pickup window. Dumb. Really dumb. I was glad there weren't any other cars in the drive through.

Tonight we're going to a Quilting/Sewing/Craft Show. I know it's mostly quilting and sewing, but there will be some scrapbooking booths--I kind of want to see what other people are doing. While I'm really not much of a sewing person, I did make a quilt once. It was a birthday gift for my teammate many years ago. My stepmom helped me (because she's the queen of all sewing, let me tell you) by telling me things like "okay--cut from here to here" and "now stitch from here to here". She really only gave me directions and suggestions and watched me the whole time. I loved how the quilt turned out. I wish I'd kept it!! Although based on the number of quilts and comforters are in the closet of my spare bedroom, another quilt is NOT something I'll be needing anytime soon.

But a nap, now that's something I could use.
