Two busy days in a row-- prefaced by two busy weekend days. Whew-- I need a nap.

This morning I met LM at the Very Expensive Coffee place at a shopping mall near where my school is. She was headed there for shopping and called to see if I wanted to meet. I haven't seen her all summer--and she's taking leave this year to be a stay home mommy. We sat and chatted for quite awhile--it was nice. After that I headed down to the other city I frequent to visit the other friend I frequent. We did some bumming to some craft stores, a shampoo store (not really, but it seems like that's the bulk of what they sell), and a sewing machine store. I was so tired by the time we were heading home--all I wanted to do was close my eyes and tune out-- but there was a one-sided continuous discussion (hmmm.... then is it really a discussion, I wonder) about biological warfare and the movie Outbreak and chlorine gas and for the love of all that is holy make.it.stop (that last part was the screaming in my head)! When we got to said friend's house I laid down on the floor and dozed-- thank you thank you thank you.

Watched HS Musical tonight--what a cute movie. I told bfg all high schools should be like that-- no skanky ho clothes on the girls, no mean girls, when the kids mess up, they realize it and apologize... and what a beautiful high school. But I can guarantee you there is no beautiful high school like that in Albuquerque, where it was supposed to be located. Have you been to Albuquerque?
