Baking cakes when it's hot... not fun.

I'm making my cake tonight-- French Vanilla with some almond flavoring thrown in for kicks. After decorating it with a lovely rainbow and a Happy Birthday inscription in class on Sunday, this cake will go to my seester and her family, as no one will really be at school until next Wednesday. Tomorrow I make B's cake-- his is a lemon cake with a package of lemon jello powder thrown in for kicks.

I just got around to reading last Friday's paper that I picked up from my mom's place at the yard sale last weekend. The big news? The state CSAP scores were released. I just want to remind everyone that the powers-that-be keep saying "CSAP scores are not the be-all end-all to evaluation. They are just one piece". Okay, then why was it a 32 page pullout section in the paper? Liars.
