So last week they made an amazing looking lemon bundt cake. Viewers had written in and asked for suggestions on how to make sure the lemon flavor remained strong after baking a cake, and another viewer had asked about how to prevent a bundt cake from drying out during baking. The cake they made looked so good--so I wanted the recipe. I go to the website and find the recipe, but before they give it to you, you have to go through all these refusals for a magazine subscription. I finally got the recipe and now I'm not even sure I want to make the cake anymore! There was a huge list of other recipes, so I clicked on a few and every time you had to go through several pages of refusals for a magazine subscription--but they were all different cooking magazines. Not ones you normally see, but ones through this show, I guess. It will make me think twice before wanting one of their recipes again.
And that lovely lemon picture up there in the corner? I did you guys a favor. I actually found one of a dried up, shriveled black-inside lemon that I was going to use, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. It was nasty, and this one is so refreshing-looking.
