Brrr. Really brrr.

We have one more performance today--and while it's fun, and I like the show and everything, it would sure be nice to stay home and make chili and watch movies. Yesterday we watched White Christmas--most of it, anyway. I hadn't watched it in years-- I forgot how funny it was. Since we had to leave for the show, we only got to watch about three-fourths of it. I'm guessing we'll finish it this afternoon after the show, but who knows. I need to dig out my other Christmas movies to watch this week. I have several favorites--and one of them is the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie. That's pretty high up on the list.

Where do you think you're going? Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f*ing Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of assholes this side of the nuthouse.

*Sigh*. Now that's Christmas.

That is hands down one of my most favorite movie quotes...
