It's Thursday. I took a personal day from work today. I needed a break from staying at school until 5 p.m. every night (including Fridays) doing work I should be doing during the work day. But there is too much going on during the work day, so I do this work after school. It's getting really old. And there really isn't much light at the end of the tunnel for quite a long while, so here I am at home today. It was an early release day today, so I only had to write lesson plans for half a day. And the discussion at the meeting this afternoon was going to be about an intervention program at school starting next year, and I think it's going to be met with some animosity, so I'm happy to be absent from the discussion.

I thought I might scrapbook today, but I just don't feel like it. I thought I might make cards today, again, I just don't feel like it. I just want to watch movies or TV all day. TV is actually more appealing at the moment, because there are hours and hours of Law and order reruns on every day and since I've seen them all at least four times, I don't really have to pay attention. Paying attention is not something I'm really doing all that well these days.
