Tonight I had dinner with my long-time friend CP. We had dinner and exchanged Christmas gifts, and just sat and talked for awhile, and ate enough bread and olive oil to last a month. The bread at Macarooni Grill is so good. I think we could just go and get salads and the bread and I'd be perfectly happy. Actually, I don't think that. I know that.

I've been so excited to give her the gift I made for her-- an 8x8 album of pages with photos from our 2006 trip to see another friend in the D.C. area. I've had it done for the longest time, and couldn't wait to give it to her. She loved it, like I knew she would.

She gave me something I was not expecting at all-- a really beautiful digital photo frame. I can't wait to get photos loaded on a flashdrive to get it going.

And unlike me, I did not have my camera with me. I always have my camera with me. It's very rare that I don't. I guess I was just in a little too much of a hurry to get going tonight.

I did my hair and everything just to get my picture taken, but no camera appeared. Guess we should have used mine.
