I don't especially like that I've become a blogger that only posts once a week now. I guess FB has begun to fill that need to post-- and it's certainly easier to post a few sentences a couple of times a day than to write a narrative once a week or more. I guess a lot of it has to do with the feeling that my life is so mundane that there is no need to record it here. But I know I really enjoy reading other blogs, so maybe there's someone out there that still checks here for updates.

Saw a great play last night: "Quilters". The play is set in 1870, and the story revolves around Sarah, a pioneer mother who is writing her daughters a letter asking them to come together to work on what she knows will be her last quilt. There are 16 vignettes--each symbolized in a quilt block: Rocky Road for the trek west, Double Wedding Ring for the weddings of the characters, Log Cabin for the building of a home. At the end, a giant quilt of all sixteen blocks is displayed--it's really very moving. The set was very, very plain but the quilt pieces were beautiful. It's not necessarily a play I'd choose to go see, but I'm so glad I did.

I finally have an external keyboard so I can start posting again too. I miss it.

I read it but also read facebook, so whatever. However, I do like the reviews that you give.

I ALWAYS check your blog. First. And I'm not really on the FB train.
