Just started reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Fantasy is not a genre I typically enjoy, but so many people have suggested it, I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm not too far into but am enjoying it a lot. I've been reading it on my iPad, and one of the features is that it shows what passages other people have highlighted in the text. That is distracting to me, so I turned that feature off. Unless I was writing a book review, I can't imagine why I would want to know what other people highlighted.

The iPad was definitely a good purchase.  I love how convenient it is to carry it around. I've downloaded some podcasts from NPR but haven't taken time to listen to them yet.

Now I just need a charging station at home for my computer, iPad, smart phone, cordless phone... it's a little ridiculous.
