Andrea Yates was found not guilty by reason of insanity--in her second trial. The first trial found her guilty-- with life imprisonment. I am so against this insanity defense-- if a defendant is going to have insanity as a defense, it needs to be GUILTY by reason of insanity.

Hopefully now this whole thing will be over and done with. It makes me sick every time there's a story about her drowning her kids.
