Gah-- thank goodness it's nearly Friday. Yesterday was a great day at school. Today was just... weird. Not anything in particular, just ... weird. I woke up in a bad mood, and was in a bad mood all the way to school. It's pretty hard to stay in a bad mood after awhile at school-- if you stay like that everyone keeps asking you, "Are you okay?" and I can't stand that, so I can usually fake my way to a better mood eventually. I'm just glad I didn't have to go to the two day Training That Is Supposed to Make Our School So Much More Successful, like some people did.

Tomorrow is the Geography Bee, and at 3:00 today I realized there are 37 kids participating, and the first seven rounds only have 30 questions each. So tonight while I'm at the ACenter (ushering--but able to work on this during the performance) I'm frantically trying to write nearly 50 more questions that fit the writing style and format of each of the rounds. I keep reading and rereading all the questions to make sure I have the right answers-- it would be oh-so ugly if some kid got out on a question that I had the wrong answer for. All I can say is I'm awfully glad I realized it today and not tomorrow morning when we started the Bee.
