Started and finished a new book this week ----> look over there. I liked the story, but the last paragraph of the book was just way too predictable for me. It kind of took away from how much I was enjoying reading it.

It's been a busy week--subbing, mentoring a teacher (two visits to the school), paperwork stuff here at home, plus other stuff. I'm kind of in a bad mood today--the reasons are small and relatively unimportant, but there's a damper on the day.

This afternoon I'm pronouncing the words at the spelling bee at school. Since I don't have to be there early to set up (I'm just pronouncing, I'm not in charge of it) I thought I'd plan on arriving about 15 mins before the Bee. Then this morning I realized there will be no parking if I do that. I think I'm just going to park at the school next door and walk over. Better for parking, and I could use the exercise. I just need to make sure I have my gloves. Brrrr today.

Fun. Do you get to wear a special name tag or anything? Maybe barge through the crowd and say "Excuse me, the pronouncer is here" "Make way for the pronouncer please". "You are hindering the pronouncer!"

I love spelling bees.

Don't read the last chapter until the last chapter and it won't take away from reading the book, lol. Hope all is well.

CP--I didn't read the last paragraph first. I only do that when the book is so suspenseful that I can't wait to find out what happens.
