Unbelievable weather the last few days. Friday was rain, lightning, crazy snow. A l.o.t of snow. I had to drive aways for a two day meeting that started Friday night, and it was insane. It wasn't slick at all, but so much slush on the highway. Scariest part? The rooster tails that slammed onto the windshield as other cars and trucks whizzed by. Heart-stopping kind of scary, actually. The two-day meeting was abbreviated to a "Friday night then leave by 10:30 Sat morning" meeting. About 75% of the people didn't show-- because they were coming from places like Grand Junction, Craig, Leadville, Colorado Springs. I was glad it was a stay overnight-type of meeting, paid for by the organization. Coming home Sat morning really wasn't bad at all. There was a ton of snow, but it wasn't snowing, it was pouring rain. And I mean pouring....like buckets. I made it home in pretty much the same time as it would have normally taken, the traffic was pretty light.
Last week was a busy one, this week is not. And that makes me glad. Hair cut day coming up, I also need to buy some new clothes for a "business" trip I have coming up to Minneapolis in a couple of we

Clothes and shoe shopping = blech.
