Today is better. Still wondering where those friends went, but a memorial service today helped put other things into more perspective. Unfortunately those new perspectives have a way of not lasting as long as I'd like.

I still desperately need a break and a change of scenery for a little while. I have a scrapbooking retreat coming up in a couple of weeks and am looking forward to being in the mountains and with fun people for a weekend.

I have a lot of catching up work to do in the next week-- I was going to get it done last week but a few major events knocked the work to the bottom of the list.

For now I just need some sleep.
